8th Grade
The 8th grade Engineering and Technology Class is called Technological Systems. In this class students learn about manufacturing processes and the universal systems model. Students then create packaging and a logo for their own brand of candy. Student also learn about 3D modeling by using SketchUp to create a 3D object to be printed on our MakerBot 3D printer. Then students will complete a module in the lab.
