Reading
Welcome to Ms. Elo's 8th grade Reading class! At MCMS we rotate through centers during reading. Students will work on vocabulary, personal reading, non-fiction text, guided reading, and Compass Learning for basic language arts skills. Students are expected to read 2500 pages in fiction and non-fiction books by the end of the school year. Your reading grade is determined by your scores on the MAPS test, the CRI test, CLOZE passages, and the number of pages you have read
